In his fourth season the team has done everything in its power to give Jake Locker everything he needs to be able to have a successful year.

The coaching staff:Locker has a new head coach, offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. Every one of these new coaches are miles ahead and better than the previous coaches he has had in his career.

Better playcalling:Now Locker will learn plenty of new things and have better plays being called in that will give him a greater chance to succeed and extend drives on the field.

Better players:He will have different players running the ball instead of C.J. constantly churning out meager yardage and stalling drives with his boom or bust style. He will have a great WR crew including Hunter who should be better with another year under his belt.

Offensive line:With Taylor Lewan just drafted and most of the players from last year getting healthy Locker should have one of the best lines in the league.

Team chemistry:With a new head coach and coaching staff the team is bonding more and are more upbeat than past seasons.

Fully healthy:After dealing with several injuries the past couple years Locker has said he is fully healed from the lisfranc foot injury he suffered last season.I've also noticed he looks more bulkier and filled out so maybe he is training more.

Better outlook:Finally healthy plus having a new coaching staff seems to have revitalized Locker and he seems more positive.

Aside from the play calling, Locker has had all the pieces around him, its been all about Jake for the last 2 years.

Im anxious to see him excel now with another year under his belt. Ive always said Jake would be great year 3 or 4, the time is now, get it done Jake.

It's just a matter of staying healthy and continuing to improve. He was on his way last season.

Any good players from last year are about to go off this year.

Watch Delanie Walker and Kendall Wright go to the Pro Bowl this season

I can see it on offense. If Locker shows up. If we're the same on defense we'll be contenders.

If Locker doesn't succeed, he will get a "This is a new coaching staff, give him another year" pass.

Good afternoon JCBRAVE, 520, and The Hammer.
