SUMMARY: Barring a final day signing, the Tennessee Titans will see 12 players hit free agency at midnight tonight. Though the Titans claim they want to remain in the market for Albert Haynesworth, it appears there are teams willing to make him the highest-paid defensive player in the NFL. The Titans have said they would match any offer to Kerry Collins but talks with all remaining soon-to-be free agents do not appear to be close to a deal. Brandon Jones has seen a number of veteran WRs hit the market recently which may impact his opportunities. Most of the other all are role players looking for either a bigger payday or a better opportunity for playing time. Some of those free agents, like Vincent Fuller and Chris Carr, are valuable to the Titans and will be priorities. Others like Reynaldo Hill, Daniel Loper and Eric King are probably more interested in opportunities elsewhere.

Screw Kerry Collins. Hell, we should consider bringing in Kurt Warner for two seasons and letting KFC go find another place to play. I'd sure as hell trade him for Warner. We aren't spending any $$ on AH now....

something to think about anyway :)

The Titans have never spend big bucks on anyone. If they want to make a run for the SB bring Big Al and Collins, and add a TRUE #1 WR. We need a WR that would make the other D say we need to stop this guy somehow. As for Fuller, King these guys are replaceable. If they havent developed into reall good DB by now they will probadly never be. Also giving 8 million per year to an ancient QB (KFC) sounds a little to much, he is an old QB that can get injured pretty easily with all those old bones in his body (NFL). Vince has to start developing and getting ready for his time to shine, even if it means us not going to the SB. If VY continues to wait on the sideline he will get even more rusty. I expect from Ten to bring in a good veteran WR, a DT ( if nothing happens with big al, which im 95% sure he wont be with us next season), and a low cost DB. I wont expect any big name players to come to Ten, I think 2nd string guys.
