I could see Luke Kuechly falling to us. Only teams with interest would be Carolina, Seattle, and Chicago. I can't see Philly being interested with their recent pickup of DeMeco Ryans. Carolina lost Dan Connor, could use a replacement. Seattle lost David Hawthorne, their stud ILB. Chicago has Urlacher & Briggs, but both are aging - he could start OLB and be Urlachers replacement. Other than those teams, don't see anyone else interested... Would we be? I'm up and down on the guy. He's an intelligent player, but isn't an amazing tackler. Yes, he gets alot of tackles, and a secure tackler, but not many come in the box it seems. He seems tiny, not sure if he has the NFL strength. I feel like if we had Ayers - McCarthy - Kuechly, we'd be set for years. I could see Kuechly being solid vs TEs... is he worth the #20th pick for us?? Depends who's on the board i'd say...
Buffalo has a pretty good interest. They are switching to the 4-3 and before free agency I thought they would go end, but not after getting Williams. I think they either grab Luke or Upshaw.
I think there will be a really good DT available and they will jump on him. I just have no idea which one it will be. There are several possible ones.
I wouldn't spend anything higher than a 3rd on Keulchy... and that's being really generous. He plays slow, hesitant, and tackles like a corner. Ruud.
I agree, he reminds me completely of Ruud. He may have decent weight for a linebacker, but he looks very small at the position.
