i agree with that... if he never gets hurt.

you dont remember the 4(?) straight 100 yard games... 100 yards in the first half almost every time... then he gets hurt.

BTW you have no idea if lendale is even as good as a PS player so really its a henry/brown comparison.
it wasnt till about 4 or 5 games into the season where anyone here, other than UT fans, even liked henry. By the 5th game chris brown was gonna be traded, or so we thought, so he never played. trade deadline passed and henry was playing good... didnt make sense to sit lendale.... so chris had to sit. If you remember... the games he actually got to touch the ball more than 3 times he did really well... houston for instance.

Sure there is. While losing Travis Henry sucks, Chris Brown is a capable running back and would be an excellent back up. But injuries happen all the time, so to say that Fisher and Reinfeldt should be fired if he ends up the starter is ridiculous.

It's easy for fans to sit at their desks and spout off absolutes about their favorite teams. It's also silly.

  3. Chris Brown is probably the perfect type of backup to have behind White. A guy who can be a starter in case White gets hurt (or isn't any good, which I don't think will happen) and is also a guy who can be a 3rd down back and let White handle the normal situations and short yardage situations.

i just think that since we did let henry go... what would be the point of letting the only other RB on the roster with serious playing time go.
people here are complaining about losing so many players... yet they want the running back position to be completely redone? we can still draft a scat back in the 5th/6th... i just dont see fisher wanting to start from scratch at RB... CB is a good blocker as well and would help protect vince.

Talking about Chris Brown without injuries is like talking about Pacman Jones without off-the-field incidents.

    How stupid..

Let's accept any backup RB as long as he isn't chris brown. One of jerry's kids with a WC would be better. Brownie sucks. Jarrett payton would be better, how about anyone with a pulse? . Bring back eddie he is big. How about nash?

We need a back up RB. Backup! Backup! Backup! Brown's role would be like rodney thomas. WTF suggests to you he isn't qualified for that role?

WTF is so damn hard to understand?

"There is no doubt no argument that can be made about this issue"

So if they rely on CB in 2007 and he rushes for 1500 yards Reinfeldt and Fisher should be fired anyway?
