Titans claim Jets TE Jace Amaro

Dude is too big to be unable to block.

 

That's exactly what I have been saying....we should keep him around. He knows our system and has a lot of reps with the receivers.

He was 10-14 for 99 yards in one half against the Colts 1st team, not scrubs. You really hate this guy. I can't figure why.

I liked Amaro coming out but hes cooled off significantly since.. We'll see how it goes soon enough

 

Still can't see why the Jets would give up on a mid 2nd rd pick after just one actual season of play. Was he screwing somebody's wife or something?

Blocking was not his strong point coming out of Tech where he didn't have to be a good blocker. You would like to think getting cut will light a fire in his belly and he can reach his potential here.

 

Same reason Titans gave up on DGB

Walker has another 3 good years in him,,would be nice to see Amaro take over at that point

Hope to see this guy get some reps in the next couple weeks. Certainly has shown potential in the recent past. If anyone can get it out of him, it's the old TE whisperer, Mike Mularkey...

 

So I see Amaro was active for the first time today.

I didn't get to watch the game,but I see the stats.

How did he look titans fans?
