It's a 2yr deal worth ??M. He can reach 5.2M with incentives. His yearly amounts have yet to be released. I'm assuming the incentives are like Pro Bowl, X amount of tackles, X amount of INTs, etc.

Good, cheap deal. Hard to get excited about, but harder to be upset about. Buys the Titans some time to find a longer term solution at safety.

 

Babs wasn't our issue on defense last season. He wasn't a Pro Bowl safety, but he was solid and seems like a good team player. I'm happy with this signing.

If you think about it, we've set ourselves up for a good draft. We've got a serviceable secondary and linebacking corp. All we need to do is address the D-Line and we'll be set on defense.

 

It's a great signing. I thought he'd be able to get $3M/yr, but this is right there so good for both sides.

 

Let's not make it sound too easy.
