I'm well aware of that and I'm a VY supporter, but I just think CJ is giving him a little too much credit by constantly waving that stat around, since we combined for 67 points the 2 weeks, with VY contributing to only 1 td, before having the highest scoring average.

Why did our scoring all of a sudden stop when Kerry took over?

It didn't suddenly stop when Kerry took over. 25...17...16...Then Kerry took over...6...28...31...

    When Kerry fully took over...

    Houston 0
    Jacksonville 6
    Indy 28 (garbage points)
    Houston 17
    KC 14
    Indy 20

To give Kerry credit, he did put up 37 against Philly. But anybody watching the game knows who the credit should go to.

    When Vince Started out....

    Oakland 38
    Pitt 11 (plus 2 INT's)
    NYG 29
    Denver 20
    Dallas 34
    Jack 30

Rusty put up 0 against Houston. And how did Kerry put up garbage points against Indy? The game wasn't over, it was bad clock management on the last drive, and even taking away that td, he still had 2 earlier in the game.

VY played like 2 series against Jacksonville. I'm sure VY would have won this game if he didn't get hurt, so not counting this game for either QB...

    37, 6, 28, 31, 14, 20 with Collins.

    38, 11, 29, 20, 34, 25, 17, 16 with VY.

I'm sure if you average those, the difference isn't that much.

I have a feeling that Fairley being around at 8 is a pipe dream. Odds are he's gone in the top 3 picks, and if that's the case then your little mock draft there needs an overhaul because DT is a major priority and there isn't a top 10 DT (that I know of, correct me if I'm wrong) in this draft behind Fairley. Ponder being there at 39 may be a bit of a stretch also. I like the looks of that for our first 4 picks, I just really doubt that it will work out that way.

As did 90% of the QBs who have played them in the past 30 years.

Vince Young is better than all the QB options currently available and will be this entire off-season.
