He should be given a chance to compete! Hopefully he has a pacient and determined mind to endure another fight...

 

There's no way you can't be pulling for him to make the team, that is if he's worth the roster spot. These brutal injuries have him far behind where he should be, but heart and determination can make that up.

 

Not sure why anyone would be negative at all about this kid. First of all he played in a crowded back field and if he plays at another school as the main back he is a 1000 yard rusher. His average per carry was 5.7 and he is also a decent kick returner and punt returner. He is listed at 222 pounds so he has added some bulk since college. He also has decent hands so has value coming out of the back field. Obviously he would have been drafted had he not had the weight lifting injury. What little we saw of him he looked decent. If he can make the team he is a bonus and I wish him well. He is a great great kid and if there was anyone I'd want to see succeed it is this kid after the hell he has been through.

 

This wouldn't even be an issue had we held on to Blount.

I do hope he can make the team and contribute somewhere down the line.
