Great breakdown, and a fantastic point to close it out, our 2 RBs and QB have COMBINED for 9 turnovers this season. That is absolutely outstanding and the byproduct of Jeff Fisher's great coaching

That's all good....on paper. Miami only had 13 turnovers all season and then ahd five in one game.

    We'll see what happens Saturday.

Pennington was lobbing the passes to make something, ANYTHING happen....he didn't care about the turnovers. Kerry Collins WILL protect the ball.

Our QB last year threw 10 more ints in fewer pass attempts. Same coach fisher.

    Good breakdown.

Perhaps that is why that QB is not starting this year. Perhaps they coached him to throw it away and he didn't listen to them?

The steelers defense has had 13 more impact plays(sacks-fumble rec-ints) this year than the ravens and all we gave up to them is one sack. The ravens are viewed as this killer hitting machine but they are only 20th in the nfl in fumble recoveries.

This is a good defense we are facing but not as good as many think based on the miami game. They will not be able to put consistent pressure on kerry without rushing more than 4. When they blitz we have a big play RB and 2 solid TE to go to while we can put good pressure on their rookie QB with just 4. That will be the difference in the game. None of the experts understand just how good our 2 tackles are.

I was going to start a thread about advantages by position, but here will do:

QB: Collins v Flacco - Titans

RB: Johnson/White v McClain/McGahee/Rice - while the Ravens have the edge in rushing yards, and I think we can agree largely due to the use of their Big package they have enjoyed this additional success. Purely based on running talents, I say: Titans

    WR: Gage/McCareins v Mason/Clayton - I s****** as I write: Advantage Ravens

    TE: Crumpler/Scaife v Heap/Wilcox - Titans

    OL: Advantage Titans

K: Bironas v Stover - Titans (plus, Stover has an ankle injury)

P: Hentrich v Koch - Ravens (hopefully Hentrich gets it together, but Koch holds a slight edge in avg and downed inside the 20)

DL: Haynesworth, KVB, Brown, Kearse (+ Ball, Ford, Vickerson, Hayes) v. Nata, Bannon, Pryce (+ Douglas, McKinney) - Titans (Titans DL leads league in sacks with 39.5, though team ranks 5th with 44 total)

    LB: Bulluck/Thornton/Tulloch v RayRay/Scott/Suggs/Johnson (et. al) - Ravens

CB: Finnegan/Harper/Fuller v Rolle/Washington/? - Titans (as long as they are healthy)

S: Hope/Griffin v Reed/Leonhard - Titans (Reed is great, but we have 2 top 5 safeties in the leage, arguably 3rd best FS in Griffin (no worse) and year's best SS in Hope.

KO Returns: Titans (#1 avg in league across season, Ravens #31)

Punt Returns: Titans (#14, Ravens #18)

Titans - QB, RB, TE, OL, K, DL, CB, S (8)

    Ravens - WR, LB, P (3)

    Overall: Advantage Titans

    G-links nicely done.,.

The bottom line here is the same as against the steelers. While their QB will be running for his life and taking hits our QB will have time and when kerry is pressured the ball will come out. Their front 4 in the pass rush will not be as successful as our 4 guys whoever they are.

We are too fast for their o-line.

I also give us the edge for the intangibles. We have a lot of vets who really want that ring. Collins-bulluck-kearse-AH-KVB. And our coaching staff. I just think we want this more.
