it must be a pretty painful injury for him to sit out of the game.... elbows are pretty important to hand the ball of 50 times a game.. /sarcasm

Tom Pelissero of ESPN Twin Cities updated previous reports today indicating that Ponder is suffering from bursitis in his throwing elbow, and that while Ponder might be able to play with the injury, it may actually take weeks to heal.



apparently they drain the blood with a needle then needle you again with cortisone. Take an advil and most people would be good too go.

Ponder threw the ball a couple of hours before the game and had no zip on his passes and grimaced in pain after every throw. You expect him to play anyway? At least Webb can run very well, Ponder would have provided absolutely nothing last night. I mean, what is your assertion here? You think Ponder just didn't want to play? lol Ponder's not a good QB necessarily, but it's hardly fair to accuse him of sitting out the game when he could have played, unless you actually watched him warm up, and know for a fact that he alone made the decision not to play. My guess is you don't know.
