I'd rather have Schaub than Fitzpatrick, would be much cheaper.
Big Time Titan high fives this.

I'd rather have Matt Cassel over Fitzpatrick. It's more than likely a wash, but he isn't Fitz and that would make me feel better because I hold grudges...

Schaub had 14 INTs and a 73 passer rating in '13 but had a solid '12. Cassel has been pretty bad the last few seasons. I don't think either upgrades Fitz.

I like the idea of having at least one vet on the roster. Are there any good ones out there available?

Schaub had a really off season last year. Something really went sideways there. He was never a superstar but was quite good before. He could probably land somewhere that he has a chance to compete for a starting position.

Remember, Kurt Warner bounced back with the Cards after being cut by the Rams and the Giants.

I suspect he'll be the #2 in Baltimore next season holding a clipboard.

Schaub had a top WR, the #1 RB and a solid defense to take a lot of the pressure off him. When some of that was taken away, his performance went into a free fall.

You think so... Kubiak went away from Schaub this year, why would he drag him to Baltimore?

He could end up in Cleveland. Kyle Shanahan really liked him.
