We got new big screens! it's distracting actually. makes you want to watch those over the real thing. I have to make myself watch the actual game. I tell myself "Dang it, I paid 40 bucks to be here.. I'm not gonna sit here and watch the game on TV."

Yep. The start/end points make a big difference, but the downward trend is what most folks likely see. Here's a few different cuts

We went 96-64 from 1999 until 2008 with six playoff berths, two afc championship appearances and one super bowl appearance plus the leagues best record twice. We were in the top ten as far as win-loss percentage which makes us one of the best teams during that span.

Its the last four years where things took a downturn as we have gone 29-35.There were mistakes made and i think there were times we could've brought in more talent or made certain moves but the GM and ownership decided we had what was necessary to compete. Also say what you will but this team used to be known as dirty and scrappy and when we lost players like Haynesworth,Vanden Bosch,Bulluck,Finnegan, etc. we lost not only a lot of leadership but the fight was gone. Also it seemed like we have had a hard time getting talented players to replace those that left.It seemed like the talent level dipped especially on defense. We also lost some good coaches on the defensive side of the ball as well when Washburn and Schwartz left. There was a drop off there as well when we had Cecil took over.

Maybe the moves we are making right now will be the start of bigger and better things to come.As much as a third of the roster will be changed when the team starts next season.

The big screens are truly awesome.

Now if only we had quality non-game entertainment to go along with it.
