Tarvaris Jackson

Tavaris is probably going to be the starter for the Seahawks, I don't see Clipboard Whitehurst beating him out in training camp.

He has 20 career starts under his belt, and has decent #s. 3,984 P. Yards, 24 TDs, 22 INTs, 535 R. Yards, 4 TDs. So basically we're looking at 200 P.Yards, 1 TD, 1 INT per game & maybe 20+ish R. Yards per game.

I'm in a $100 league, 10 teams, and you start 2 QBs. So QB depth is needed. How would you guys feel about Tavaris as a backup QB. He now has Sidney Rice, Mike Williams, Carlson, and Golden Tate to throw too. Average RBs, Average OL. He could put up some decent #s. It's a risk since he hasn't been named the starter yet, luckily my draft isn't until Aug 14.

Thoughts on TJax?

I would not take him, even as a #2. I am not convinced that he will start...Clipboard Jesus (as I have seen the Hawks fans affectionately call Whitehurst) may get the nod there IMO.

OH I wasn't going to start him as my #1 or #2 QB, just for depth reasons. I have a feeling he could break out this year. Then I have trade bait
