Let's hope this is a start to something more serious

 

Says his groin just tightened up and they're just being safe, but still, this is really depressing. Injuries suck, especially to major players.

 

There's a reason big WR's like those two never have great careers as WR's, they're just too big to be running with DB's all day everyday. Fitzgerald has been the exception. But even Sidney Rice has leg issues, they all do. Very few guys their size can keep up without some setbacks.

 

Makes me wonder if the big WR will be going the way of the doh doh bird with big catching TE's emerging.

 

I doubt it, I mean yes most of them miss time, but when they are in they're game changers.

Personally I'd prefer we just draft football players and not these raw athletes like Britt and Cook. Give me a team full of Colin McCarthy's and Kendall Wrights. Those guys don't miss games, and are overlooked because they aren't huge.
