I wonder what the tie breaking procedures will show, looks to me like the dolts could actually win against the fags, while vikes and rams are both likely too lose out. Talk about changing fates of 3 franchises for the next decade.:)

I think the Rams have got the #1 pick on lockdown now. If I were them, I'd find a team dumb enough to trade for Bradford and draft Luck.

Bradford was a one year wonder who will never be able to stay healthy.

It will be pretty interesting if the Colts don't end up with the first pick. The Rams definitely need someone to protect Sam Bradford, so Matt Kalil would make sense, but I wonder if a team would be willing to sell the farm to move ahead of the Colts.

It's an interesting position to be in for the Rams (and potentially the Vikings).

Do you sell your #1 pick and stock pile A LOT of picks and rebuild your team.
Or trade away Bradford (and his ridiculous contract) and draft what could be your franchise for the next 15 years.

Number one picks are much, much more likely to be traded now since the rookie wage scale pretty much sets the payday.

yeah teams can actually afford to pay the 1.1 without putting the CAP at risk

The colts lose to Jags and they have the #1 pick. However, I do not understand. NFL Network says its a lock. But wouldnt the NFC West be a higher strength in schedule then the AFC South. My point is, why doesnt this week matter in determining strength of schedule.

every team you play is counted, but division teams are only counted once.

    If I understand it correctly

I think the only thing aside from being on the Rams that's really held Bradford back is his health. He's certainly got the goods to be a very good QB in this league. Surely he'd welcome the idea of playing on a softer surface somewhere besides STL.

And I could see him leaving St. Louis too as his contract was virtually ALL signing bonus so his cap number is extremely low. He makes less than half a million in salary this season, that's unheard of for a 1st overall pick. His contract looks good if a team wants him.

The Colts aren't dumb enough to win next week. They will find a way to lose and clinch the #1 pick.
