Doubt it happens. According to the paper they aren't even negotiating. Makes you wonder how healthy Rice is because sounds like no one is taking the bait.

The day Rice was here, Jeff said that they gave him a physical and worked him out. Then when asked about signing him, he said that they talked, but the results of the tests and physical was not back yet. That was strange because the team Doctor was at practice that afternoon!

Simeon is recovering from shoulder surgery so the Doctor would immediately be able to give Jeff some basic results from the various tests. You can even get some immediate or basic results in a few hours, from blood samples! Word on the street is that Simeon is not healthy and his agent is asking too much money for a player who is no longer as strong as he used to be.

Simeon probably has a lot of pride which was damaged when he was released. He's got nothing to lose by asking huge money right now just to see if someone will bite.

He'll come down to earth or retire. I suspect he'll sign in a couple of weeks after lowering his numbers and that team will still overpay.

And who is that solid player? Laboy? Give the guy his freaking money and let's pretend we have a goal this offseason.

Some dude ( the report was on the Strahan situation) said on ESPN this morning that the Giants are interested in Rice, but would "probably lose out on Rice's services to the TITANS, who are in a far better cap situation."

It was whatever that show is that used to be called COLD PIZZA. Maybe it still is, I don't know/care? Either way, it was the one with that fool, Skip Bayless, though it wasn't 'ol Skippy Boy that was doin' the talking.

Some dude from a New York paper, via satellite. That's all I got, other than this place.
