I'm pretty sure 4 million and 9 million would indeed make a big difference to Saban.
I think 4 and 9 million would make a big difference... but I'm willing to bet if another school - like Texas - was to compete for Saban, the amount would be similar.
How many coaches have just walked away from a great program that they had no administration problems at, had no problem winning at, and got paid whatever they want? The only ones I can think of in modern times left only to go to the NFL. There is always the possibility a coach might leave for no good reason for another college program because people are sometimes unpredictable but statistically unlikely.
So agreed to disagree
Pretty unnecessary to bring race into the debate.
Alabama caught stealing signals against ole miss.
It's Rolltide's thing. We're used to it and generally ignore it.
1) Why is Ole Miss using the same play call signals from last year, when they know one of their guys went to Alabama?
2) If the Patriots can do it, I'd say Bama will be allowed to as well.
Uh, I don't think the Patriots were "allowed." Not like they lost a first round pick and were dealt the biggest fine to an organization ever or anything...
Texas can actually pay more than Alabama.
So if it's money Saban is after- still points to him leaving.
But just watch.
He has a history of doing just that.
