Jags were a major rival before they sucked. Jags got their first ever win against the old Oilers. The year the Titans went to the Super Bowl the only losses the Jags had were to the Titans, including one in the playoffs. It was that year when Fisher referred to Alltel stadium as our home field.

Would be good to get that rivalry going again.

As for LA. I cannot see it happening with Bud or anyone else who ends up owning this team. LA may have the population but it is a fickle market. Also there is an old addage in business: It is not how much you make but how much you keep!

Overhead cost in LA is going to have significantly higher overhead. To start out with taxes in California are rediculous compared to Tennessee. Particularly corporate taxes. Land and rent are also significantly higher. Utilities are also much higher. Cities and the state government in California are also having major financial problems meaning they are not likely to help absorb a lot of the cost.

LA may get a team but not this one. Does not make sense.

That and despite the fact that we are terrible currently, our stadium attendance hasn't suffered that much. We dropped out of the top ten but it isn't bad... yet.

Impressed this hasn't been moved to smack central.
