This crutch has been used twice, and it'd be great if it were true.

    But it isn't.

    Again...

You think any Michigan fan was rooting for Ohio State when they played Florida?

    Nope.

You think any Ohio State fan would be cheering for Michigan tonight if they were playing Arkansas?

    Nope.

Think any Michigan/OSU fan wanted Michigan State to win yesterday?

    Nope.

See- we're not coat-tail riders like you guys.

    We actually have rivalries.

We cheer for our team and that's it. We couldn't care less about any other team in our conference winning for some pathetic shed of similarity pride due to our team sucking.

The other night after a concert I witnessed an Alabama fan go up to a guy with an Auburn hat on and say "Hay we's is Alabama fans!! But buddy, do you have a light for my cigu'rett? :D" ...

That would never happen with an OSU fan/Mich Fan. That's supposed to be your toughest rivalry and it's the first person you look for to strike up a friendly conversation? What a joke.

A UM/OSU fan would slap the cig out of your mouth and tell you to F off.

You are right, Michigan State vs Georgia game is well within the context of the title of the original post. Afterall, the Vols aren't playing a bowl so I see your point about you guys who keep talking about the Vols. You guys need to stop. Remember, Tennessee volunteers didn't make it to a bowl game and lost to a team who started their WR as QB.

^ Because people are cheering for any team that plays against the SEC and at the same time are saying they care nothing about conferences or anyone but their own team. That is totally hypocritical.

    But it is damn funny.

The best part is at 1:30ish when Mr. Toupee Derek Dooley is walking off the field subconsciously comparing his players to Nazi soliders

Hating bandwagon teams is not the same as being a bandwagon fan.

    You do understand that, right?

I'll be cheering for Virginia Tech tonight. Guess that makes me a bandwagon fan. No. It means I'm rooting against a team I hate. Last year I rooted for Oregon against Auburn. Why? Because I hate Auburn. Hell, I don't even like Oregon but it was the lesser of two evils.
