RIP Pete Postlethwaite

Great character actor who was in a bunch of stuff recently..
Always seemed to die in the movies - now he's gone for real.

Man, this guy was an AWESOME character actor. Epic doesn't even begin to explain some of his performances, even in absolute s*** movies. The guy would elevate above the material and create some memorable characters.


He will be missed.

Brilliant and funny guy.

Never forgot his TV roots and regularly acted in TV dramas for little money in between Hollywood roles.

First noticed him in Usual Suspects. Pete, you will be missed.

Though I remember his face from Alien3 I first took interest in him in In The Name of The Father... Awesome actor - sad loss. Looks like Jürgen Prochnow will get "those" roles from here on out..

RIP Kobayashi

There are so many great character actors you see in films and recognize their face but often don't know their names. He was certainly one of the best.
