What do you mean never a top 5 in the nfl?

At his position? I certainly disagree if so.

Out of everyone? Well yeah. This is a QB/offensive league.

Revis was most certainly a top 5 CB, probably even top 5 defender before the injury, DW is just IDK, dumb for that comment.

So who got the better of this trade?

Tampa has to pay a ton of money for this guy with a bum knee for at least one season, though they could get a top 5 DB out of him if they are lucky.

The Jets saved some cap space, but could have lost out on a top 5 DB. If they draft a DB in the first, the essentially traded Revis for that DB (Rhodes, Milliner, Xavior) Yikes! But if Revis is washed up now, it could end up well for them. At least now they can address several needs early in the draft.

He was never top 5 at his position, guys.

Sorry. The ESPN hype train warped your sense of reality.

I can't even name 4 CB's today better than him... Let alone when he was healthy

    When he was healthy?

    Charles Woodson
    Nnamdi Asomugha
Antonio Cromartie (And the Jets are very well aware of who is better between the 2)
Champ Bailey (NFL Wide Receivers will say so - and have)
    Richard Sherman/Antoine Winfield

Actually, what you're seeing is what happens when a good player plays in New York. Revis is a good player. He's just not the best like the media makes him out to be.

Well, that's a given. Not really fair to throw Mouton in there.

Bailey is one of the most over rated CB's ever to play the game!
