Used to be a Mariani hater, but after seeing Reynaud last year, I'd love to have Marc back at it.

Then again, at least we don't have this guy..

As long as Reynaud gets learns to let the ball bounce inside the 10 then he is my choice but damn he made some boneheaded plays last year cost us our special teams coach.

Mariani makes much better decisions. How many times did Reynaud bring the ball out eight yards deep to not even make it past the 15? A LOT. How many times did he catch the ball inside the five? A LOT. And Reynaud had two more muffs last year than Mariani did his two years combined.

Reynaud stuck last year because we didn't have anyone better.

I don't think this is a competition at all.

    It's Reynaud's spot. No question.

I have to agree. Mariani will be lucky to play anywhere ever again.

If Mariano is at pre-injury form, then I am taking him. He makes better decisions with the ball, and that's more important than breaking a big one IMO. (Alyhough mariani can take them to the house just as often) Reynaud doesn't know when to fair catch and when to let one go.

My ideal situation would be Reynaud returning kicks and Marc doing punts

Reynaud made some questionable decisions but they are correctable and he has more big play ability then Mariani had pre injury so imagine where it is at now. Easy choice if you ask me.

He's been in the league for five years!

I voted draft pick. Chances are Mariani never plays again and Reynaud sucks.

He wasn't a full time return man all those years though. I don't think it would be hard to correct simply telling him do this in that situation or do this. I like that he takes chances though to be honest. Marc is the dependable type but offers little game changing ability. I won't be mad if a rook slides into the return spot though.
