Reading the coverage: White down 20 pounds from last March

Seriously do you know anything about football? I know I have asked you this before but you just seem to keep adding ammo to the cause. Maybe you should just give up?

 

He averaged 3.9 ypc last season and scored 15 TDs. Usually if you are going to round with a 9 at the end you round up.

 

Rudi Johnson runs with MUCH more power than Lendale ever has, so he shouldn't really be mentioned. Plus, he was never fat.

What does that even mean?

 

L-Dub when running '& goal' had 24 carries last season and scored 13 TDs. That is over half the time he touches the ball '& goal' he scores a TD. When it was 3rd and goal and he got the ball? 4 of 4.

Johnson in the same situation had 4 TDs on 10 carries.

The guy knows how to get in the endzone.

 

hey, i've said in multiple threads that white has a niche on this team, its just not as a full-time/50-50 runner unless he becomes more productive between the 20's.

if he's going to restrict himself by being overweight and slow then he can be the goal line/short yardage back, but he needs to play special teams too so we can activate someone who has more running ability and better hands.

 

By those numbers, CJ is almost JUST AS effective as White is in goal line situations. Not that we didn't already know that...

Craig Hentrich could "find the endzone" in goal line situations with our blocking.

yeah, i'm obviously "hating". hating on a guy who has been out of shape his entire career, has one 1000 yard season and was replaced after his only year as a starter.

apparently i'm not the only one "hating" on lendale.
