    It also wouldn't be hard to extend Locker at some point during the Manning years to make sure he's with us for X amount of years to come. We don't exactly have to wait for him to be a free agent to resign him. He probably doesn't want that either.

    Yeah, but the interesting twist in this case was that it was obvious that this direction came from the owner, and not the coaching staff/FO.

    My gut is that if we get him and things don't pan out, Munchak still gets the axe....unfair IMO, but I think he was hired as a transitional guy last year anyway (known quantity to get us through the lockout), so now that we are through that phase, he is the easy mark.

    And Rogers sat around for 5 and look at him. A couple of years behind Manning will be good for Jake.

    It really doesn't matter to me, if he's a Titan, or not.
