you've never seen the man play huh?
plays like a decent 2nd string running back. I like him better than Parmele, really I think they bring about the same thing to the table.
What? Youre confused. Parmele has a chance to improve, Battle doesnt. Parmele is half good, Battle is on the decline.
Parmele is 27 years old, he isn't improving much if at all. If we wanted to get someone to improve we should have drafted Lattimore or someone in the later rounds, they were there. A 3rd string runningback needs to come in and be a complete and balanced back. If for whatever reason he comes in, he needs to be able to pass protect since he probably isn't going to be touching the ball much at all.
This is what's so good about pre season. We'll get to see who's better.
I think we can all agree its good to talk football even if its a camp battle for the number 3 runningback.
Feels good even though you guys are wrong.
Upside of Parmele though is not as much wear and tear on his body.
No way we're keeping 5 running backs.. CJ and Greene are safe. It will be interesting to see who else we keep. Reynaud is a nice safety blanket on special teams, but he provides absolutely nothing for the RB position.
LOL! This is a joke right..............RIGHT? Two 3rd string RB instead of two guys who eclipsed the 1000 yd mark (CJ every year hes been in the league, Greene the past 2 seasons) I know CJ gets hate, but COME ON! this is a ridiculous statement.
Just glad to see we finally broke away from the terrible rb corps we had the past few seasons. I swear we had like bottom five depth at the position. Ish was bad.
