Having mastered the close win during an impressive five-game streak, the Colts returned to their ways of old, blowing apart a bad team. After winning five in a row by six points or fewer, they put a 32-point beatdown on the visiting Bengals.

[IMG][IMG] The result keeps the Colts in control of the top wild card spot in the AFC.

Last week in Cleveland, Peyton Manning didn't throw a touchdown pass and the Colts didn't score an offensive touchdown.

It's Manning's custom to follow-up less-than-stellar games with biggies, and he held to form here.

Manning spread the ball around with touchdown passes to Marvin Harrison, Dallas Clark and Anthony Gonzalez. It was the third time this season he tossed three scoring passes and his 134.0 passer rating was just a touch off what he posted in a similar blowout against Baltimore (134.7).

Safety Bob Sanders (knee) was back while center Jeff Saturday (calf) sat out.

Like the Bengals, the Colts' next opponent has the tendency to make opponents feel healthy. The winless Lions are next in line for a visit to Lucas Oil Stadium.
