I'm just saying, if you look at the defense they've led Gray's has had more success.

Don't ever praise Jerry Gray, he'll think he's onto something and back our corners 20-yards off..

This makes no sense. So if a guy sucks as a DC the stats mean nothing plus the fact no team he has coached ever made it to the playoffs. But he is 50X better than Gray? No way I buy that and nobody should. Besides, what were you watching later in the year when Brown was on the field and the Titans started playing more aggressively?

In fact the Titans defense was equal or better than the Cowboys except our achilles heal was stopping the run. We played without our MLB most of the season and Brown didn't really get playing time and start to shine until the 2nd half. The defense for the Titans is very young and still has some significant holes especially at SS.

Dallas has a legit pass rusher, signed a mega contract to a FA CB and drafted the best CB in the draft. Still their pass defense was horrible. Tennessee (playing timdly) ended up 9th in the league in sacks despite not having one guy with double digit sacks. We only had 5 less sacks than Houston who had a guy with 1/2 their sacks himself. Ryan's angry, aggressive defense with Ware (11.5 sacks), had 5 sacks less than us and ranked 20th. TN also had 19 ints last year to the aggressive turnover machine in Dallas total of 7. Dallas had 15 FF to TN 13.

So I'm not sure how anybody could come to the conclusion Ryan would make things better in TN. On the contrary I think Gray has a good chance of really turning the TN defense around if we plug in the right players into our areas of weakness.

And what good teams did Gray beat? Yea....

You sir fall into that group that believed he turned things around, when in reality he was just lucky the teams the 2nd half of the year stunk.

Have a look at Rob Ryan's play sheet. Look real close. Why does he need bikini girl on it? He is planning to stroke one off during the game?

The difference was that the Dallas offense could move the ball.

The Ryan's remind of that fat smelly kid that would always get caught doing weird **** in class, now these two managed to get placed on a football field and they do not know how to behave in public.
