Saw this on a movie the other day, found it pretty interesting.

Suppose you are on a game show; the host asks you to pick between three doors. Behind one door is a bag filled with a million dollars, behind the other 2 are bags of coal.

Without any reason to choose any particular door, you choose door #1. Now, the host, who knows the location of the money, then walks over to door number three, and opens it to reveal a bag of coal. He then asks "Ok, Would you like to change your pick?"

    Do you change your pick?

In the movie they answer the question, but don't really elaborate why it is correct, which bugged me. But I finally figured it out.

So.. first person to give correct answer and explanation gets high fives on fives.

HINT: This isn't a trick question, there is a correct answer.

You should change your pick. Now you have a 50/50 chance.
