It seems that way to me too, but I'm younger so I don't remember how T.O. was coming out of college personality wise. I think sometimes players develop the diva trait.

Like OBJ and Josh Norman for instance.

    But I hope you're right.

Yeah. The diva issues usually come once you start dominating at the top level.

WR's and DB's naturally already have a bit more potential to be flashy/"me" types.

Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, and Larry Fitzgerald are a few top receivers in recent memory who are the exact opposite of that.

And with a MUCH more favorable contract situation.

And a better attitude. Mediocre teams hoping to make a playoff run don't trade away a 1,000 yard receiver.

I'll give you bigger. I'll give you better hands. I'll give you better contract, work ethic and attitude.

But not speed. Cooks would smoke Davis in a race. Fortunately, we aren't running track here.

I'd take Davis over Cooks....Cooks seems like a malcontent, lucky for him he went to NE where they won't put up with that crap.

Yeah but Mularky doesn't run it up the middle on 1st and 2nd downs and then try to "surprise" them by running it up the middle on 3rd and 11. He and Robiskie have definitely mixed it up more than Fish ever did.

I think Davis was the best WR in this draft. I think taking him at #5 was a logical move. I believe they wanted badly to trade back. However, when they could not they took the best WR of the group. The WR group fell off sharply after the top 3 IMO. TBH I am really going to be interested to see if Ross even plays half a season. The kid has a serious injury history. Multiple surgeries on multiple areas. He is very fast. However, that speed means nothing on the bench.

DB was a really deep class this year. So going WR early was the smart play IMO..... Although I had really hoped we would add more than 1 defensive play maker.

We put a lot of our resources into the offense this year. I really hope this coaching staff decides to use them. I know we are a run 1st offense. I just hope we did not spend the #5 pick on a guy who will spend the majority of his time blocking......It's time to open up that play book a bit..... MM8 in year 3 should be primed for a big year with the weapons he now has....

The diva trait is known as "uncoachable" until they become superstars.
