This doesn't pertain to Stork, but something I didn't know. Just read that if a 'vested veteran' gets released, they are immediately a free agent. They do not go through the waiver wire. They however do go through the waiver wire process if it's after the trade deadline.

 

Poutasi is cut anyway. Mularkey said this week he wasn't even in the top 3 in the competition for LG because he was too inconsistent.

Basically guys like Peyton Manning were being whiny little b**ches about having to be on the waiver wire when they got cut, since they think they are above the rest of the players. They wanted to be able to go straight to FA and have teams throw a bunch of money at them.

Stork was drafted in 2014, he is not considered a vested veteran yet. He played some guard for the Patriots last year after returning from injury. It definitely couldn't hurt to take a look.
