Every year, one third of us find something wrong with who we picked, one third of us adamantly defend our selections and one third of us sit back and watch the drama unfold.
Because in most years he wouldn't be a top-ten pick. Look at last year's draft. He's not as good a prospect as AJ Green or Julio Jones. Chances are Blackmon goes to the Rams at 14 in 2011. Blackmon isn't the physical freak I think a WR needs to be to warrant being a top-ten pick. He's not super fast. His size isn't anything special. He has concentration issues at times. I don't think it's Blackmon's fault that he's the best option out of a weak top group, but he is relatively overrated.
I think a lot of people had Green 1, Blackmon 2, Jones 3 last year, then Blackmon stayed in school and Jones blew up with his 40. Those other two guys are 6'4", but Blackmon was far more productive in college. Jones was pretty damn inconsistent. I think Blackmon is a touch overrated, but even if he was 14th last year, that is pretty damn good behind those other 2. It was hard to watch him go get the ball in the air in college and not be impressed.
yeah, a linebacker with the best gametape of probably any defensive player in this draft that was projected to go in the 1st until a poor interview. I'd say he's definitely underrated
Vontaze knows you're allowed to lift weights, right? You want to bring up Brocker's bad 40 time, but he would give Burfict a run for his money in a foot race...
