I was having this debate with a co-work (Cardinals fan): Who would you rather trade for Kolb or Orton.

Probably the two best available QBs. It seems the Broncos will start Tebow (IMO), so that should put Orton on the trade board. Kolb is on the trade board as normal. So lets say you could trade a 2nd Round straight up for either one, who would you rather have? This isn't necessarily for the Titans, just in general.

    Kevin Kolb - 6'3 218 - 26 Years Old
    2010: 5 GS, 1,197 Yards (239.4 ypg), 7 TDs, 7 INTs, 65 Rush Yards

    Kyle Orton - 6'4 225 - 28 Years Old
    2010: 13 GS, 3653 Yards (280 ypg), 20 TDs, 9 INTs, 98 Rush Yards

I picked Kyle Orton. Sure he's a couple years older, but he had back to back 3,800+ yards 20+ TD season. Although my co-worker was saying that's because of McDaniels system. Kolb does have potential, but I think he's overrated. Regardless my co-worker picked Kolb.

How about you, who would you trade for?

    Orton.

Kolb hasn't really proven he can do anything so far.

Orton had back to back 3,800+ yards 20+ TD season.

I'd say Orton if pressed. Kolbs only shown flashes. Not entirely his fault. He's always been the second best QB on the roster.

With that said. Neither are realistic possibilities. Both will want to start for more than a year and will want top tier QB money. Had we not drafted Locker then we might have been in discussion with either one of these guys. Whoever we end up getting is just going to be a band aid, like Bulger or someone like that.

    Neither.

But, if I had to choose I would go with Orton.
He's more proven and would cost less via draft pick.

Orton. What is Kolb other than an NFL buzz word?

    Neither.

I'll take the seasoned veterans such as McNabb, Palmer, or Hasselbeck.

Orton by a landslide. Kolb would be an enormous risk, we would basically have two rookies with he and Locker. Orton may be a turd, but he has had some NFL experience. Kolb's worth is very overinflated.

I would lean more towards Kolb, but lets get real...he is not going to be interested in being Jake Locker's setup guy. Orton is more practical for that, although I think that the liklihood of either of these is pretty low at this point.
