guy got 20 years for refusing too talk on the stand, BUT he was granted immunity for his testimony. As onerous as it is the sentence was legit IMO. Once the punk got his immunity he should have rolled on his punk arsed associates

I'm not pretending that I know exactly what happened. All I'm saying is the fact that he STILL hasn't cooperated with the cops tells me that he's A) Involved somehow, and/or B) Dumb as a rock.

Now I know that B) is true, but I'm just speculating on A).

People keep making up all these crazy excuses for him. He's scared of some hood thug. Or he doesn't want to talk to the cops without a lawyer. Well, he's had PLENTY of time to hire a lawyer to go down to the station with him to give a statement to the cops. The fact that he still hasn't done that tells me that he either believes he can just hide out long enough that the cops will magically forget about him (very dumb), or he knows he's potentially in deep doo doo and speaking with a lawyer to craft the best possible/least incriminating statement.

It's also very possible that not only was the victim his friend, but the attacker was also a friend. And they're all covering for him. Wouldn't be the first time an argument between friends lead to an assault. Again, admittedly all pure speculation on my part. But I just don't see how anyone can look at the facts (as we know them) and say something doesn't seem fishy about all this.

People with nothing to hide typically don't.
