Ta'amu can penetrate? For such a bog strong dude I saw him get stone walled by singles...
Alright but looking at the draft and at that spot there aren't a whole lot of good pass rushers to begin with and at #20 it would probably be a reach. If we can sign a good pass rusher then we'll be fine and then focus on the S position.
I wouldn't mind taking Still (who probably won't be there) or Curry at 20. I think we just need someone on D that can make some plays. If they are not there (and obviously Coples won't be there) I say go with one of the LB's like Hightower or Burfict, or Janoris Jenkins or Mark Barron.
I'm still not against going WR in the 1st either.
If we sign a good pass rusher, I too hope we draft Barron in the 1st.
I'd love Curry, but feel that he's too early for 20, and likely too late in our 2nd.
Is Curry even 4-3?
Finally someone else who understands Griffin is our best option left at FS or maybe SS if we can move Campbell to one safety spot. There is just simply no way to draft a safety and expect them to cover well against NFL passing offenses. I would sign Babineaux only to a short term contract and maybe draft a safety next year or keep developing Johnson and Campbell
Klug looks more like a 3 technique undertackle to me. Not fast and long enough to deal with OT. He would be better off adding weight to his frame. more of a passing down player at this point.
If barron only runs a 4.65 in the 40 or a 4.60, would we take him or keep griffin who is a better cover guy but not as good of a tackler? As we have seen slower corners such as chris hope and roy williams have become obsolete with the rule changes and the prodominance of the passing game in today's nfl.
