A new things they're doing on The Zone on Monday's is having Neil O'Donnell talk about the QB play. He made some good points today:

    1. A lot of the problems with Fitz early in the game was that he hadn't seen game speed and needed time to adjust.
    2. Titans WR/TE were not getting separation in the first half even on shorter routes.
    3. The first Fitz INT was poorly located. The second was him being too greedy and should have checked down to CJ.
    4. Thinks the Titans need to go away from the jumbo goal line package and use CJ.
    5. Need more two TE packages to help run game, pick off each other on slants and make it easier for Fitz to create rhythm in the offense.

I may have missed a thing or two but some interesting thoughts.

    Regarding each point

    1. This should not be a "Big" issue when a vet like Fitz
    2. No, they were not
    3. That is how Fitz plays. He does not check down.
    4. We have been saying the same thing.
    5. He is probably right there

Were going to have to get creative and use some trick plays here and there if we are going to beat Seattle.

    Trick plays?

Like a screen? We dont run trick plays unless its August and there's nothing to lose. We dont even use the pistol formation and everyone is doing well out of that.

Loggains is in over his head.

Not just a trick play on offense but one on special teams. Man I'm missing Lowry more than ever.

I've never been a fan of O donnell, but he makes some good points. Fitz has to get back into the groove of things, and unfortunately Locker will have to do the same thing once he gets back. It's hard for any back up to come in for his first game off the bench (especially against an excellent defense) and compete well. I think we'll see improvement next week even though it's at Seattle where few teams will win this year if any. If Locker hadn't got hurt last week the Chefs would be 4-1. They got a gift in that game. Merry Christmas buttholes!
