Vince also had a rushing TD and I never can understand why people want to ignore his rushing stats when discussing his performance as a quarterback.

My statement of hell freezing over had nothing to do with Vince's play and everything to do with Eddyc's post

    It's pleasing for sure.

I'm starting to lose the sense of dread when VY throws.

We still suck though in terms of play calling on Offence. We relied on CJ way too much against the 49ers. Why run him inside the tackles when that is the 49ers Defences strength?

Using Lendale only to give CJ a breather is not a two back system. It's criminal to have play makers like Britt and Cook on the field and not use them.

Heimerdung is clueless and without CJ we'd be screwed. Fisherball is all about eating up the time of possession even if it that doesn't play to the skillset of your players.

The CJ show while great is not an offence. Young is doing nicely he won't be allowed to do any more that what we've seen so far.

Wins do not hide the offensive coaching inadequacies.

CJ started hittin the holes in the 2nd half so why not let him keep runnin it? Its not like CJ was asked to do EVERYTHING...that rollout pass to Bo on 3rd and 5 was critical and so was that 3rd and 8 screen to CJ

Lendale wasnt getting anywhere yesterday...he got hit at the line and fell back. And Dinger actually went out of his way to add the option to the plays for Vince and Fish said they are going to continue to work on it.

Im content with 20 passes by Young and 30+ rushes for CJ...look how more passes and less rushes worked for us when KFC was starting lol

Expect all of it again on Sunday against the Bills, who are givin up 170 yards rushing average a game

Game manager is a perfectly fine way of playing when the team is winning. The problem with KC is he was helpless to lead us to a win when we needed something more than a game manager. Look at the 3 games where we've had multiple opportunities at 4th quarter game-winning drives that have been complete busts ending in either INTs or him throwing the ball to JF on the sideline.

Besides, if you don't think VY has done anything but manage the game, I have no clue what you're watching. Just cause he doesn't throw the ball 35-40 times doesn't mean he's just managing the game. I'd give you examples but you seem to have your mind made up so I'm not gonna waste my time.

I would definitely have to say the biggest improvement has come from the Titan Defense. Vince has done a great job of protecting the football, but the defense actually getting a turnover has been a huge factor.

There is improvement, but he is still consistently innaccurate throwing to the WRs. Is it a coincidence that Britt has disappeared now that VY is the QB? Over 50% of VYs completions have been thrown less than 3 yards. But I am happy we are winning.

My thoughts exactly, we'll have to see how he responds when he gets his cage rattled a little bit, see if the old Vince shows back up. I say we play it safe with him like we have, improve his trade value and drop him like a hot potato!

Really? Consistently inaccurate to the wide receivers?

1st Drive: 2 completions to WRs, no incomplete passes (to WRs). 17 yards

2nd Drive: 2 completions to WRs, no incomplete passes. 67 yards

3rd Drive: 1 pass to WR, incomplete.

4th Drive: 1 completion to Wr, no incomplete passes. 3 yards. (TD Rush by Vince)

5th Drive: 1 pass to WR, incomplete. This was the play where the WR tripped in the end zone. Throw looked ok, back corner of the end zone. Would have been close.

6th Drive: 1 pass to WR, incomplete.

7th Drive: 1 completion to WR, 1 incomplete pass. 33 yards.

8th Drive: No passes to WRs

    Total:

10 passes to WRs, 6 completions 120 yards. 1 pass was incomplete because the receiver fell over. That looks pretty good to me.

10 passes to non Wrs, 6 completions 43 yards.

He was throwing bombs all game long. Gage and Nate had very good games.

I love this quote:) Nate's longest reception was for 18 yds! and the completion to Gage was a Jump ball thrown back across the field into double coverage, great catch by Gage.

So we're ignoring the 49 yard pass to Gage that was perfect? Or that the pass to Gage was a well placed jump ball? Double Coverage... maybe, but they weren't getting to it. That is the type of play you expect to see with a NFL team that runs a real offense. How about the pass to the corner of the endzone that very well could have been a TD without the WR tripping. Most of Vince's passes to WRs were way down the field, something this offense had been lacking.

Notice how you completely ignored the point of my post, Vince was actually quite accurate when throwing the ball to his WRs down field. Weird how you mentioned that Britt has disappeared from the offense, but fail to mention that Gage and Nate Washington have been more productive.
