    I think those said owners are trying maintain an "image" for the NFL to be very professional and orderly.

    Supid rule proposal to me. I think the individuality of the players are pretty cool. Its not like you don't know who Polomalu is if you can't see him jersey name. Players like Rashean Mathis, Polamalu, Al Harris are recognized by their hair, and its pretty cool

    the nfl loses marketability to begin with since you can't see the players' faces. you might as well have SOMETHING fans can recognize.

    but no. the nfl just worries about long hair and the image it portrays....... exactly what image is that, anyway?
