There went any credibility you had. Drafting a guy because of his name is not smart thinking. Sorry, but it's not.

Tough call picking between Fairley and Watt at 8 if both are available. Watt is the more solid guy.

I'll just chime that with the woes the defense still faces, potentially not having Haye (please), the health issues of Brown and Jones, the possible ceiling Marks has hit, I'm all for Fairley or Dareus at 8. Couple that with the amount of QBs that will probably be around later, I'd actually prefer going this route if it's an option for us.

I like Watt too, I think he's the much safer pick, but has a lower peak than Fairley.

I'm not a huge fan of Fairley... but i'd still like him on the Titans. He's a punk and takes alot of cheap shots. But, I doubt the Titans would pass (if we decide no QB rd1), especially since Rocker is here now.

Not sure if his style would do well in the NFL but he's too talented at a position of need so yeah take him.

I'd say it's a good pick up. Not only are we getting the best DT in the draft but his old position coach is our D-line coach. He'd fit it in perfectly. A few weeks ago people on this board were talking about Fairley going #1 overall...let's not forget that.
