NFL Fans Hate the Colts

5 minutes is 9% of a game.

 

That's true. 5 minutes takes you from last in the league to 27th....

Again, not that much of a difference.

 

What drives me crazy about local Colts fans is that 99% of them like the Colts because Peyton went to UT (I'm also a UT fan). And their reasoning doesn't stack up. I usually always ask them two questions and they get trapped in their own stupidity. The conversation usually goes as follows.

2Tone - Why are you a Colts fan?
Them - Because I'm a UT fan and I loved Peyton while he was there.
2Tone - Why are you a UT fan?
Them - Because I grew up in Tennessee and they represent the area/state/town I live in.
2Tone - You realize Tennessee has a professional team right? They represent the area/state/town you live in. Why aren't you a fan or the Titans then?
Them - Uh...

 

That and they don't follow the players that actually won them a championship. Some which were actually on the Titans. (Haynesworth)

 

Well Peyton has represented UT with class which is a lot more than you can say about most ex-vols from his time.

Plus he's made ridiculous donations to the school and makes lots of appearances. Vols are proud of Peyton and all he's done for the university.

 

It's hard to follow them when most are in jail.

 

Tee Martin has done more.

 

Done more than what?

He certainly hasn't done more donation or publicity wise than Peyton. And I LOVE Tee Martin.

But right now Tee coaches for Kentucky...

 

Well he probably makes about .00001% of what Manning does. But at least he did get you guys over the hump. And no one cares about the guy usually.
