No matter what they saw in this guy - he could have been had next week as an undrafted. At least wait til the 4th or 5th for this guy and get someone that teams actually value.
Just a dumb move. There's no justifying it.

    Starting to miss reese?

How can a runningback be worth a 2nd rd pick when he only averaged 3.3 ypc in the pac 10? They don't even play defense in the pac 10 dang it! What morons they were so hung up on not getting micheal turner they drafted the guy who most resembled him physically.

Would that 50th pick put turner in a titan uniform? Turner for that pick is far superior than this dud.

    Morons!

This draft has been like waking up on Christmas morning and getting your ***** kicked, tossed out into the snow and watching your presents get burned in a heap on your front yard. I sure hope the powers that be know something that we don't...

Im not that dissapointed, I think people have definately overreacted given some things that have happened

LW and Crhis Henry will split carries, I see one eventually getting a 2 to 1 carry ratio on the other bc one will prove more dominant, but they will both be solid

For the secondary, no more problems at saftey, Hope and Griffin will be sure locks to make the play when they need to
Harper I am not concerned about bc he was a superbowl champ and now knows what needs to be done to be successful, as for the corner opposite him, its either Finnegan or Hill, yes, I said Finnegan, he can run in a cover 2 fairly well

Linebackers Tulluch, Bulluck, Thornton, no problems there

D Line, KVB can eat double teams, if we can find a DE opposite to get decent penetration, Haynesworth and th eother interior lineman will be able to help get a real push

For Wrs Jones, Williams and Roby will have to step up until Givens is back bc once hes back and healthy, hes a solid #1 on alot of teams, so Im not to worried about his production

Listen, its gonna take time for things to pan out, but Im pretty sure they will

RB Coach Smith Comments on Choice of Henry

SUMMARY: "When I went to work the guy out I knew that his personal workout was not equal to what you saw on film, so there has to be a reason why," said RB Coach Sherman Smith. "As Jeff said, we did our homework, talking to the coaching staff there, talking to other people. As I related to the coaches, quite clearly, the kid had the ability; it was the system that kept him from being productive. As we worked him out you could see the power, the explosion, the quickness, and the hands. Man how come you’re not playing? So I talked to the strength coach and the strength coach laid it out real clear. He said this kid put up with a lot the past three years. He kept it together. He worked hard in practice. When he got an opportunity, he did the best he could, but it was a system in which he really had to endure some hardships."
