Next up needs to be Curtis. He need to believe the VY hype. Solid #2 ~ #3 Let him set a fire under BJ, and get us some competition at WR.

    If we end up with:

    Moss
    Curtis
    Jones

as our top 3 WR I will take it especially with Givens coming back mid season.

If Young progresses as well as he did in 06 we are looking at 4 WRs mid season that could be #1 or #2 WR on most teams.

We have a solid FB, Young RB, QB who we know can win games, O-line that is clicking.

Our D, has a top 3 tandem in thge league with Pacman/Harper IMO. A Young Hope, vet Bulluck, and a quick Thronton. We have very few soft spots at this point just need solid filler.

A big DE pick up or a solid S pick up, or even the Moss/Porter trade would throw us into the spot light at this point.

I don't want Curtis. We just released his slower brother. And we wont take a chance on Moss. Hamlin would be a smart pickup that'd actually have impact, so we wont do that one either.

    Titans intinerary..

    Sign hamlin. $4M

Trade thompson for a 7th rd pick. save $2.4M

    Sign kevin curtis $4M

    Sign nick eason. $3M

Cut woolfolk and reynolds(saves $2M), sign jason david..$3.5M.

This ends all concern at the CB position.

Gives us a big upgrade at safety.

Takes care of most of our concerns at WR.

Gives us a good DT to compete with starks for a starting job. Eason also provides insurance against the possible loss of haynesworth or starks next year.

Total annual cost of new signs....$15M
    Cap savings...$4.4M

    Net cost .....approx $11M
