Okay, maybe not, but I'm perfectly content with Coors cutting down the cost of keeping it cold. http://www.heraldextra.com/news/article_b0372fd8-3f3c-11de-ac77-001cc4c002e0.html
Exactly. I can't understand why conservatives are screaming "HOAX! HOAX!" instead of embracing new venture opportunity. Capitalism thrives off of finding solutions for problems- not claiming that problems don't exist. Kinda makes you wonder what interest they have in keeping oil as king, huh? Again, one more of the many reasons why neocons aren't conservatives at all. For you on the mainland, maybe you're getting your power from waterfalls on man-made lakes or something (Duke Power, Lake Norman, NC), but out here in the middle of the ocean we get it from burning diesel fuel and it costs FOUR TIMES as much as your power bill, and as fuel costs go up, the power bill triples. We absolutely MUST have wind and solar tech, and a method to store the energy created by it. They situation is no different in the Dust Bowl regions or the desert Southwest. And this is why I get absolutely livid when some clown- especially one in a government position- starts blabbing about 'alternative energies are a front for the global warming crowd!' They simply don't know what they're talking about, or they're getting paid off. There's no other possible answer.
