Dolphins sucked too
Looks fine. The only problem with it is the same thing that was wrong with the last one. The dumb football in the middle.
Yes, we know you are a football team, you don't have to put it in the logo.
It's just tee ball esque IMO.
So you'd have us go from being called thumbtacks or tackheads to being called flamers? Frying pan & fire.
I must be the only one that likes our logo and colors, all you guys cry about it every year
ooooooh. They made the flag bigger. That'll really draw the fans in. If you're gonna change things.. go big.
You can talk about how uniform changes really turn things around.. but it is a coincidence. Like previously mentioned. Dolphins, Jags, Panthers, all changed theirs, and performed to the status quo.
Super Bowl winners, since 2000
Colts-basically unchanged forever
Saints-basically unchanged forever
Patriots- constantly changing uniforms before and after super bowls.
Ravens-fairly traditional (unchanged) uniforms for a newer franchise.
So really, only 3 of the teams since 2000 had brand new uniforms.
looking at recent history.. it is better to build an established brand with the traditional uniforms.
I like it, too. people are too fickle. a few good years with this logo, and in 10 years, people will see the logo as iconic.
I'm sure in the early to mid 90s, Colts fans hated their logo, thought it to be old and outdated.
Opsreys just blew that theory to smithereens..
We're never getting new unis :-(
they're the one team to have done it with brand spankin' new uniforms. Bucs won it with uniforms about 5 years old.
Pats are a constantly slightly changing uniform around the same theme.
