I'm still a little confused with Gloat saying the Lakers are simply in a slump at a poor time. How much of the slump is attributed to playing the leagues best defense?

League's best defense? Where has this so called "best defense" been while the Lakers built those 20 point leads?

It probably showed up when the Lakers couldn't score enough to sustain those 20 point leads.

Best defense?? I didn't know they played much defense. Probably a result of playing the league's worst teams all year long.
Anyway - who wants to play a drinking game? For every illegal screen, you must take a shot. Let's see how many wont be able to type by halftime lol.

Boston has one of the best defenses in the league and almost no one would argue that, except gloat of course.

Like lakers fans are bandwagoners. I don't hear a word about the lakers for the last 3 years from most lakers fans and now they're die hard fans.

There are tons of bandwagon fans for both these teams though no doubt.

They also played in the worst conference. It's as significant as an NFC team having the best defense.

Anyway - The lakers have given up. It amazes me that they can leave a guy wide open every time down the floor. How do you lose your guy completely? There are guys just standing in one spot for a solid 10 seconds waiting for someone to notice them.

And every rebound bouncing out to the celtics is crazy too. Every time. Ball bounces over the Laker guys that are in position, and to the celtics that are in no-man's land.

36 first half points though, when Kobe started well. Has he even touched the ball since? This is why Phil Jackson sucks. He doesn't actually coach. No strategy, no adjustments, etc. When you make Doc Rivers look good, you should retire.
