One can also be knocked out cold and actually suffer no lingering concussion symptoms too. He was out though. No doubt about it.

Well I'm not trying to make light of the concussions but this just proves that you can still be a fighter after being cold cocked:

Yeah i just wanna make sure no one heard anything else other than this leg injury. I felt sick when i saw him in that classic "knocked out cold" position on the field. No way he was "acting" after that hit

Yeah, I think Nate woke up and was feeling relatively okay so the team decided not to mention a head injury. The leg injury could very well be a little white lie.

Was that hit not helmet to helmet?

I sure thought it was when I first saw it... and Tim Hasselbeck used this play as an example of how the replacement refs suck.

I can't complain about them not blowing it dead though... I've always advocated for the refs to let it play out, then go back and fix the call if needed. Now that all turnovers are reviewed (which is an awesome rule IMO), it makes it an even easier to call to let the play go and not blow the whistle.

replacements effed the game in my opinion. Had that interference been called at the endzone we would've changed the game i feel. Maybe not win it but still. Also they had to review two turnover plays that were most definitely incomplete passes. Like honestly.... I hate these guys

I said that myself, but then, after seeing the replay, I would have to say it was pretty clear that it was not a helmet to helmet hit. The reason the hit was so jarring to Nate's head is that he was hit by one player and launched directly into another players hard hit. Rapid deceleration causes trauma to the brain. That's what kills many car crash victims. Fortunately, Nate seemed okay. He did get KTFO though.

On replay, I thought it was "incidental helmet-to-helmet" at the very least.
