Sci Fi movies... awesome!
Except "Last Days on Mars" with Liev Schreiber (dude in Ray Donovan). D-
Stay away from this pile of dung.
One of the funniest, saddest, most interesting documentaries I've ever seen.
Horror is a legitimate genre and is the last hope for independent film-making.
Superhero movies are a consumer culture fad, very much like boy bands.
Except comics and superheros are ingrained in our culture like modern mythology.
They are our Olympian gods in a way.
... and have been around for decades. Film is just a new format for them. Won't get old. It's not a fad - they are just finally beginning to get it right.
Idk man... There are a lot of good indie films - at least in my eyes - that aren't horror.
Of course there are - but horror remains the true domain of Indie. If you scroll thru Netflix and make a list of Indie a huge % will be horror. It's the least studio controlled genre in that regard.
I suspect the percentage of people that read superhero comics is vastly less than the folks who plop down a twenty spot on the Hollywood films..
Probably but horror movies suck for the most part outside of a few exceptions and none are anything resembling scary past about age 7.
