wow if this is true the rest of the league will laugh their asses off. For that much $ you could get the highest QB in FA or draft a guy for a long term contract - or both.

Owners have done stranger things than keep a talentless player because they like him. Don't under estimate Bud's love affair with Vince. For all we know, he represents the son he lost. I'm not saying it's so, but I am saying people do interesting things when it comes to those things they treasure.

What's going to happen, is Fisher will go away. Then Vince will play another 6 games next season and have a meltdown. Then he will go away.

    Both problems solved.

like Amy said, if Fisher is gone and VY stays, we will then have the Cowboys after Jimmy Johnson, a "Yes" man who is at the mercy of the owner AND VY! As a number of old coaches have said, you can't let the inmates run the asylum. With this move, VY is above all reprive and has been crowned untouchable. Do you believe this will cause resentment amongst his teammates? I guarantee you it does! After his boy Scaife will be released, he'll have one less of his inner circle shielding him from everything and no coach to take the media heat off of him.

This is gonna be really really ugly.

    From Fisher's Monday press conference:

Team falls behind early, KFC passes around 37 times. Just what else do you need for it to "work out"?
    :irked:

BTW, I'm glad to see some of you holdouts are starting to come around and see the light. It's been painful watching the Fisher praise for the past few years.

Bud Adams, Chris Johnson, and Kenny Britt want Vince to be the QB. Nuff said. Whether you like it or not, Vince will be taking the snaps week 1 next year. You can cry about it if you'd like, but that's just the way it is.

Sounds like your the only one crying about it.

You'd do just as well to click your heels together three times and keep repeating "Vince will be starting next year...Vince will be starting next year....".

This is the perfect time to implement an offense tailored to Vince's abilities. Fisher is done, he's talking about bringing Collins back, LMAO he's lost it. And now with the CBA up in the air there are less chances to install a new system this off season so build one around Vince Young, and find a suitable backup QB who can do similar things.
