Monday Morning QB: Falcons @ Titans Grades

    SUMMARY: It sort of feels like you got a chance to go to the prom but you had to take your cousin as your date.

    Lots of mixed emotions.

    Though I had no doubt the ladder back to respectability in the NFL would have the occasional misstep, yesterday's meltdown in the unusual October heat by the Titans offense and special teams flashed back to some of the early blowouts the team was on the ugly end of last season.

    Fans leaving LP Field yesterday appeared to be quite tame compared to other victories in recent history. Watching a team look pathetic in two of the three phases of a game does that.

    If it had been anyone but the lowly Falcons, the Titans would likely be sitting a 2-2 right now and fans would be questioning everything as fans normally do in an ugly loss to an inferior team.
