I know it's a bit silly to announce GOTY by just a trailer.

Ah hell, this is going to be GOTY. As long as they tweak things and don't try to get too cute with improvements, this is a shoe in IMO. I've heard there will be vehicles in multiplayer, which I'm wary of. COD4 multiplayer was genius as it were. Add/balance/trim some perks, add/balance/trim the weapons and their augments, add bigger maps, and you win Infinity Ward.

Yeah. It does look amazing. I posted this video in the Mass Effect 2 thread, because I'm an idiot.

The fact that they have the TDI Vector (aka KRISS) in this game makes me drool. It's a .45 caliber sub-machine gun that has really low muzzle climb because of a brand new round ejection system. Still a prototype, so I'm kind of surprised it's making an appearance in a game. Very cool nonetheless.

It looks like a lot of new weapons will make an appearance, and I'm also hearing that there will be fully customizable weapons in single player, and double attachment perks in multiplayer.

as long as there is a sniper mission like in the first Modern Warfare. i don't know how many times i played through that one.

There's a lot of cool variants on the M4 design with better stopping power. The Barrett, like you mentioned, is a pretty novel design. I personally am very intrigued with the HK417, which has a new intricate cooling system that makes it unbelievably reliable in field tests. It also fires the NATO 7.62 with just a bit more kick (I'm a bit skeptical on this fact, as I've never fired one). A friend of mine who's former SF swears by it as a replacement for the conventional M4 however.
