players should be allowed to fine goodell for being an idiot
It happened years back with something similar. The NFL has always been more concerned about protected offensive players, mostly QBs, and never with defensive players. A group of defensive linemen, led by Nolan Harrison, and petitioned the league to make certain types of blocks illegal. And it worked.
if only that were possible
What is all this about dropping Preston. You really think we would drop Preston just to sign Collie. Yall are crazy.
true that, the chop block is the worst, people could have a career ending injury from one of those blocks. It works the opposite here where schiano tells his d linemen to go low on offense during victory formation, i hope schiano gets fined too, I have been waiting to hear something on that as well!
Bernard Pollard has made griffin a better player! Period
No, having an actual SS that can take care of his responsibilities made him better. Example, when we had Chris Hope, Griffin had his better years. Once we lost Hope, they moved him around too much which caused him to fail. A good SS can let Griffin do what he does best instead of trying to do more than what he should be doing.
I would think with a 30-40 yard runup 'la Vagician' would be able too put more hurt on more people
I think the last time he was asked about not hitting folks he said he was trying to avoid fines.
yeah man, his philosophy on hits and fines is all messed up, its like he's castrating himself. Pollard has the best and only philosophy to succeed and keep his opponents fearful when it comes to hits. All that bullish*t fine talk and complaining that Griffin does only makes opposing recievers comfy to catch balls right in front of him, if nothing else he's dumb for talking like that. I'm glad Pollard is checking these dudes and holding them accountable.
